Carly came to me with her wedding planner, Brittany of Bash and Fete, in the spring of 2022. She embodied such a relaxed, laid-back vibe and told me her priority was for everyone to have a great time – so it’s no coincidence her wedding turned out to be one incredible party!
The Fairmont Pacific Rim was transformed into a magical midnight garden, featuring deep green foliage and white blooms cascading from the ceiling of the banquet hall; the lighting was atmospheric, and from the pictures it’s clear the energy and excitement was palpable! For Carly’s stationery, she selected a timeless colour palette of ivory, deep green and gold, and wanted to incorporate florals and typography that were modern but still feminine. The final design featured an abstract floral sketch and a chic monogram of the couple’s initials, and we utilized blind letterpress printing to enhance the subtle daintiness of the design while keeping the overall aesthetic clean. The suite also included Carly and Nicholas’s names in Hebrew, as a nod to their Jewish heritage, and incorporated vellum papers, a gold wax seal band, foiled envelope liner, a deep green details card, and personalized RSVP enclosures. The design was further carried into their Day-of Stationery items, which included embossed ceremony booklets, ivory menus with gold printed placecards, table signage, and a life-sized seating chart. Carly and Nicholas were also the last of my 2022 couples to have ordered customized Canada Post stamps before that program was discontinued!
The process of working with Carly and Nicholas was seamless and a complete joy for me. Here’s to a lifetime of celebrations to them!
